Hey guys, I am coming back after... a few months? Maybe a year - I kind of forget the last time I played. I was looking through my characters and storage, and realize I have a lot of items sitting around. Which may or may not be useless.

I see that I have different armor sets, but can't really remember how to use them with whatever builds I used to use.

Umm my question is, should I try to re-familiarize myself with all the stuff I have, or just sell everything and re-start (item wise)? And assuming I sell everything, what would the best way be - trade channel, forum, or if I remember right... there was some auction site. (Can't we just get an AH?)

I also remember that I left because the community was going downhill along with the economy. Has any of this changed? Or is everybody still using heroes and making fun of everybody for not have r4 dual max gold voltaic spears and Mini Pandas?

Thanks for any help guys, hopefully I'll maybe be able to start playing this game that I used to love so much.

I just came back after about a year off as well. I had some old items that used to cost 100k + tons of ecto, but their value has gone down the drain due to inscriptions and GW:EN reusing old rare skins.

Everyone is still using heroes as well, your best bet is to find a good guild that you can group with often and make some buddies so you can find groups. PuGs are a thing of the past it seems.

Not true. I and a guildmate have pugged our way through Prophecies with his new ele. Just finished up with the Fire Islands today. As long as you don't expect all members to have done the mission/quest 50 times already, it's a great way to play.
